Every company wants to make a profit. And for that, they have to understand Market strategies to sell their products. On the other hand, Social media optimization (SMO) is related to spreading the word about the business on social networks such as Facebook and Twitter to keep the audience updated. This is a tricky task to execute considering all the social media sites are already cluttered with numerous promotional posts or tweets which users generally try to avoid. So, instead of driving the user away, a person can be indirectly engaged through content or conversation.


Therefore, SEO mainly focuses on improving your website's ranking and the ability to drive visitors through the likes of Google. And SMO focuses on driving traffic via social media platforms. Both SEO and SMO operate in different spheres, but they do impact one another.
